Andrew served as president of the society of light and lighting (SLL) from May 2022 to May 2023. With over 25 years of experience, he understands how lighting shapes the way people feel and function within a space. Having started his career installing lighting before graduating, Andrew brings practical knowledge of both design and installation. His lighting design philosophy centres on responding to architecture, materials, and the people who occupy the space. He advocates for a daylight-first approach while protecting dark skies, guided by the principle that lighting should only exist where it adds to the beauty or function of a space. Andrew drives change by exploring how new technologies and techniques can deliver better quality spaces for clients and occupants.
