Technical facilities

Precision for championship performance.

Every detail counts in motorsport, and the smallest edge can define competitive advantage. Technical environments must perform on every level: integrating complex systems, meeting uncompromising timescales, protecting live operations and creating places where highly skilled teams do their best work. Each demand calls for rigour, coordination and deep sector expertise.

Facilities for winning performance

That pursuit of fractional gain shapes the entire motorsport ecosystem, from Formula 1 teams and manufacturers to specialist performance engineering and technology businesses. Our work spans landmark headquarters and technical facilities, through to refurbishments, reconfigurations and phased expansions that support evolving operational requirements. We handle them all with the same level of precision and care.

Whatever the scale, our approach is process-led, bringing the same lean engineering principles that drive on-track efficiency into every project we design. We integrate architecture, specialist systems and building services from the outset, managing delivery safely within live operations. The result is facilities built for precision and adaptability, with the flexibility to evolve as technology, regulations and ambitions change.

  • Team headquarters

Whether we’re designing a full campus, a specialist HQ, a people-centred workplace, or all three, we bring technical excellence and teamwork together under the same roof.

These facilities balance manufacturing, production and assembly at the highest standard, with the workspace quality needed to attract and inspire the talent who make up winning teams.

  • Workplace and culture

From technical offices, operations rooms and executive suites to training facilities, gyms, restaurants, museums and event spaces, we create the spaces that support culture and wellbeing across a motorsport campus.

Natural light, air quality, acoustic control and spaces to connect – with each other and the world outside – help teams do their best work.

  • Manufacturing and technical facilities

We design specialist manufacturing and technical environments where vehicles, components and technologies are developed, produced and tested. From machine shops, clean rooms and composite facilities to laboratories, assembly areas and specialist production spaces, we plan every area around demanding workflows, tolerances and operational requirements.

Precision engineering and skilled craftsmanship sit at the heart of motorsport manufacturing. These spaces need to support complex processes today and remain adaptable for tomorrow’s technologies, equipment and demands. We build flexibility into every design, helping organisations expand capability, introduce new processes and respond to change with confidence.
  • Research, development and testing

From wind tunnels, dynos and environmental chambers to R&D labs and simulators, we create the environments where technical innovation is developed, tested and validated. This covers everything from aerodynamics and structural integrity to regulatory compliance and performance.

As track testing time reduces, simulation and test data increasingly drive development. Crucially, these facilities help teams validate how accurately their simulations predict real-world performance.

  • Race operations and logistics

We design the facilities that support motorsport’s highly complex production: goods-in, stores and distribution areas that keep every part accounted for and ready to use. This also includes race logistics, moving cars and equipment to multiple events each year worldwide by road, sea and air.

These facilities support fast turnarounds, last-minute dispatch and the customs bonded storage that international freight demands, all without disrupting the operations running around them.

  • Battery and electrification

As electrification plays a growing role in motorsport, we’re increasingly designing facilities that support battery R&D, prototyping and small-scale production, alongside energy recovery systems (ERS) that capture and reuse energy through braking.

These environments need the precision and safety infrastructure that high-voltage development demands, at a scale that’s suited to motorsport.
