Daniel is a cost management specialist and chartered surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, including 20 years in the data centre sector. He began his career working at a medium-sized main contracting organisation as an estimator and quantity surveyor, before moving to professional practice in 2001. At Ridge, he leads a cost management team providing strategic cost, risk and procurement advice on a wide range of data centre, critical infrastructure, and commercial redevelopment projects, in the UK and Europe. With increasing land and power availability constraints, Daniel provides expert advice in developing strategies to de‑risk challenging sites and delivery programmes. He is known for his clear and analytical approach, overcoming complexity with straightforward, actionable strategies.
