Ian is a trained quantity surveyor with extensive experience in design and build construction, delivering projects with complex fit outs and fast‑track procurement requirements. He has led contractors’ estimating departments and overseen cost planning across a range of projects. More recently, he has focused on the project management of high‑end residential properties. Before joining Ridge, he was a Founding partner of the Midlands office at Projex Building Solutions (acquired by Ridge in 2021). Prior to that, he served as Operations Director at AMEC Design and Management, where he ran two offices with responsibility for 450 design staff and 18 project managers. Ian is known for his commitment to developing young talent, actively supporting graduates and apprentices across the business.
