Jon is a chartered structural engineer and partner leading Ridge's civil and structural team in Manchester, with over 20 years' experience delivering major developments across the North West. He specialises in multi-phase mixed-use, residential and commercial office developments, with a strong focus on understanding project drivers and managing design risk. Notable projects include multiple phases at Circle Square and St Johns in Manchester, alongside complex refurbishment and repurposing schemes requiring forensic engineering judgement. Jon takes a proactive, pragmatic approach, offering practical innovation where it adds value and ensuring clients are shielded from unnecessary complexity. Jon is known for his positive, collaborative leadership style, instilling a team-first culture from the earliest stages of people's careers. Jon is a chartered engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Structural engineers (CEng FIStructE), and a long-serving committee member and former Chair of the BCO Northern Chapter.
