Lucy is a chartered civil and structural engineer with over 30 years' experience, leading Ridge's expert witness and advisory services across structural design, project management and dispute resolution. She has been appointed as structural engineering expert in high-profile arbitrations and litigation across the Gulf Region, Australia, South East Asia, Greece, Scotland and the UK, and has been cross-examined by prominent QCs on numerous occasions. Her structural design experience spans schools, hospitals, hotels, residential and commercial buildings across new build, refurbishment and historic restoration. Lucy is known for her authoritative, precise approach and ability to navigate complex technical and legal challenges with clarity and confidence. Lucy is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil engineers (FICE), a Fellow of the chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), a member of the ICE Dispute Resolution Panel, and Regional Coordinator for the Society of Construction Law (NW).
