Peter is a mechanical building servicesengineer with over 40 years' experience, having worked on a wide range of projects across many sectors. Since joining Ridge, Peter has been responsible for the delivery of Residential and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation projects. He is currently working on Viadux Phase 2, which will be the highest residential tower outside London. Previously, he worked on the design of over 20 swimming pools and leisure centres including Southport Aqua Dome and designed the mechanical services for The Crescent in Buxton, a Grade 1 listed building converted into a Danubius Hotel and Spa facility using warm underground springs. Peter strives to design mechanical systems with sustainability as a foremost objective. He believes early engagement with design teams is key to designing passive energy reduction measures and optimising building orientation, solar shading, fabric, and natural daylight.
