Richard is a chartered building services engineer with over 20 years’ experience and a leading figure in the science, research, and technology sector. Based in Ridge’s Oxford office, he has delivered some of the UK’s most exciting and technically complex schemes, including major science park masterplans and bespoke laboratory buildings. Richard leads the science and research building services team and is part of the sector leadership group. He brings a consultancy-first mindset, blending deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, and works closely with clients to navigate complexity and unlock value across the full project lifecycle. His focus is on creating sustainable, flexible environments that enable innovation and discovery. Richard holds CEng, MCIBSE and MIET qualifications.
