Sia is a partner in the Leeds office and a chartered engineer, fellow of the Institution of structural engineers, and member of the Institution of civil engineers. With over 20 years of experience, he specialises in the design, coordination, and management of projects across healthcare, science/labs, industrial, education, and infrastructure sectors. Sia has extensive experience in the built environment and understands the key drivers in successful project delivery. He engages with clients and collaborators to enhance structural solutions, tackling critical issues including cost, programme, aesthetics, environmental conditions, constructability, and health and safety. His expertise spans all major structural forms and materials, specialist foundation design, and computer-aided design in BIM. Sia is an active committee member at the Institution of structural engineers Yorkshire Regional Group, serving as Chairman in 2022.
