Mandalika International Street Circuit

With a mission to raise Indonesia’s motorsport profile, this project created a circuit ready for global series and international attention.

We worked with Mrk1 Consulting to design and engineer the 4.3 km, 17‑turn layout capable of achieving FIM Grade A approval.

Interdisciplinary expertise for an FIM Grade A circuit

Our race track and civil engineering teams led the track layout, pavement design and approvals process, while our design and project management teams coordinated with local consultants throughout design stages and construction visits.

We supported the full journey – from concept and schematic design through to detailed design and final FIM approvals. One of the main challenges was working with varied local ground conditions as the project moved from vision to buildable reality. We provided clear, practical design information to keep progress smooth, safe and efficient.

A track praised for rhythm, challenge and scenery

The circuit opened in 2021 and has since hosted MotoGP and World Superbikes. Its flowing layout and dramatic setting have quickly earned it a reputation as one of the most memorable tracks on the international calendar.

Putting Lombok on the motorsport map

Mandalika has helped put Lombok firmly on the global motorsport map. It supports Indonesia’s tourism ambitions, brings international events and investment to the region and provides a venue teams and riders want to return to. Our work helped turn a bold concept into a permanent, high-performing racing circuit that now plays a defining role in the region’s sporting identity.
