James is a sustainability specialist with over 12 years' experience advising clients on how to achieve their sustainability goals across sustainability certification (e.g. BREEAM), Net Zero Carbon and embodied carbon consultancy. Based in Ridge's Manchester office, James leads on embodied carbon analysis, working with design teams from early stages to encourage the use of low-carbon materials and deliver Net Zero Carbon in construction outcomes. He has broad expertise across bespoke sustainability solutions, policy alignment and an ever-changing regulatory landscape. James is known for his pragmatic, collaborative approach and ability to guide clients and design teams through complex sustainability challenges with clarity and confidence. James holds BREEAM Assessor and Accredited Professional (AP) licences and was a sector-group contributor to the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard.
