Michael is a chartered surveying professional with over 20 years’ experience in utility mapping and land surveying. He specialises in below‑ground geospatial surveys across rail, highways, energy, water, healthcare and aviation sectors, delivering technically complex projects with precision and clarity. His career includes leading major programmes for the NHS, National Highways and Network Rail, and co‑founding and directing a surveying company, where he shaped service lines, operational processes and strategic direction. Collaborative and quality-driven, Michael is known for his long‑term commitment to raising professional standards and mentoring the next generation of surveyors. He is a Fellow, elected Council Member, and Trustee of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES), and also serves as an active Examiner within the institution.
