Robert is an in-house lawyer with over 20 years’ experience. He qualified as a commercial solicitor in 2001 and offers his advice in the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, risk management and claims handling. Robert joined Ridge in 2017 after 22 years in the city. He began his career as a shipbroker before attending the College of Law and qualifying as a shipping litigator with a City law firm. After a period of time practicing in Barbados with Cariconsult International, he returned to London as an in-house lawyer for a first class shipowner for 12 years.Robert is a Member of the Law Society of England and Wales and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers
