    Ridge is based around a team structure. Partners are directly responsible for a number of teams in their respective disciplines. As a multidiscipline practice, we offer great opportunities for widening your experience through working closely with our other disciplines and across all market sectors.

    We have a strong focus on embracing the latest technical developments and innovations. In addition, we have specialist sector groups to focus our activity in such areas as education, motorsport, housing, pharmaceuticals, retail, leisure and hotels, Government and local authority, infrastructure, commercial and industrial.

    Our well-established management structure offers a clear path for career development, from graduate to Partner.

  • Training and development

    The background of our professional and technical staff typically includes a degree followed by further study to gain membership of construction industry professional bodies (RICS, RIBA, APM, ICE, ISTRUCTE, CIBSE etc.). Many staff continue their training in specialist areas of interest, leading to further qualifications and specialist memberships (for example the Chartered Institute of Housing, Institute of Safety and Health and the Association of Project Safety). All staff undertake Life Long Learning, which ensures that they are kept at the forefront of good practice and technical innovation. As a result, our people are equipped to tackle any situation and are able to offer practical solutions with the minimum possible delay and associated cost.

Recruitment process

Applying for a new role is an exciting, but not always enjoyable, experience. The stakes are high, so we try to ensure the process is a positive one, with no unnecessary stress. All applications to Ridge are assessed on merit against the criteria within the job description, and in consultation with the Partners.

When you apply via our website, you will be asked to submit all the relevant information we need to process your application. We will ask you to complete a short application form and submit an up to date CV.

When will I hear back?

After you have submitted your details, we will email you to confirm receipt of your application. On the closing date for applications, your CV and qualifications will be reviewed by our Recruitment Manager, in consultation with the Hiring Manager, to determine whether you will be selected for an interview. We do this by reviewing your experience and skills to match these to the criteria listed within the job advertisement and description.
